Founder, General Managing Partner, Head of the Investment Committee

Mark is a professional investor and banker. Most of his life has been associated with the global financial ecosystem.

For more than 20 years, he has held senior management positions at Israeli and European banks. During his tenure at Israel's leading Hapoalim Bank he was involved in international banking, investments, strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, and headed the global Private Banking Center in Tel Aviv, with over $3 billion in assets under his management.

After becoming the Head of Hapoalim Bank in the Russian Federation, he moved to Moscow, where he was responsible for business development in Eastern Europe. While living in Moscow, Mark became vice president of the Russian Jewish Congress (RJC), working on charity projects and forging close ties with Russian-speaking Jewish businessmen in the former CIS countries.

He then joined Safra & Sarassin Bank in Geneva, Switzerland, as Managing Director, responsible for the Israeli and Russian markets.
Mark is currently the CEO of SmartGen Ltd. - an investment-consulting company, also managing the family office of wealthy individuals and families. 

Education: M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and Management (Technion - Israel Institute of Technology), M.A. in Economics (Haifa University), B.A. in Economics and Management (Open University).
