Dean is a certified public accountant, member of the Israel Bureau of Certified Public Accountants and the Israel Council of Accountants. He has over 14 years of experience in auditing, accounting and finance. Dean is extremely well-versed in the intricacies of International Financial Reporting Standards, as well as accounting principles in both Israel and the United States.

Din's career began at KPMG Israel, the Israeli branch of one of the world's largest financial reporting companies. He completed the company's exclusive training program, after which he went on to work in the audit department. Dean was responsible for the audit and tax reporting of leading companies and corporations, such as IDB Development, IDE Technologies, Strauss Group, etc.

After 5 years at KPMG, Dean became a Controller at Brill Industries Ltd, a large public retailing company, where he was responsible for financial and tax reporting, project performance evaluation, consolidation of Israeli and foreign companies, supporting valuations, mergers and acquisitions, and working with the Israel Innovation Authority on the company's R&D projects.

Dean also provides financial and accounting services to Israeli startups and companies, including financial and cash management, fundraising, and advice on business development and market diversification.

Dean is currently the CFO and head of financial advisory at SmartGen, an investment advisory firm that also manages the family office of wealthy individuals and families. He is responsible for accounting and financial and banking compliance for both the company itself and its clients.

Dean is CFO and a member of the SGF Investment Committee, where he is responsible for the financial and legal aspects of the fund.

Education: B.A. in Economics and Accounting (Bar-Ilan University).
